About Hydelic
With synesthetic expression at its core, Hydelic are constantly exploring ways to create memorable musical/sound experiences with a whole new dimension, through the artful marriage of audio, visuals, and bodily sensation.
Their debut work for Rez Infinite (Area X) was nominated for a BAFTA award in Audio Achievement, and landed a Best Music/Sound Design nomination from The Game Awards for their first-ever release.
Their next soundtrack, for Tetris® Effect: Connected, won the 2019 SXSW Gaming Award for Excellence in Musical Score, EDGE Magazine’s Best Audio Design award (2018), and scored BAFTA nominations in the Music and Audio Achievement categories, a DICE nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition, among other accolades.
In 2025, Hydelic collaborated with Takako Ishida on the soundtrack for Lumines Arise, winning EDGE Magazine’s Best Soundtrack award. The eclectic mix of tracks also garnered nominations for Best Music at the New York Game Awards, Best Soundtrack from the PlayStation Blog, Best Music from Shacknews, Best Soundtrack from COGconnected, and audio design nominations from the DICE Awards and the Game Developers Choice Awards.
